Jared had a really neat idea for a new family tradition. We are going to see how many temples we can get our picture taken at as a family. We hope that this will let our children feel how much we love temples, and we hope it will foster that same love in their hearts.
The Salt Lake Temple was where our family began on May 13, 2004.

We were able to go to the St. George Temple on a family trip with the Petersons.
Whether Adelaide knows it or not, here is evidence that she has been to the Palmyra Temple with her Daddy and Mommy.

We think it is a little ironic that we had already gotten a picture of our family at the Kirtland Temple when Addie was still just a baby, but we are yet to get one at our very own Columbus Temple.

Uncle Dallin and Aunt Abbie gave us the opportunity of getting this picture of the Manti Temple by choosing to get married there.

On our trip out to Utah, we had a temple day where we got pictures at the Provo Temple,...

...the Mount Timpanogos Temple,...

...the Draper Temple,...

...the Oquirrh Mountain Temple,...

...and the Jordan River Temple. "I love to see the temple!" I hope that all of my family will "go inside one day!"
I love this tradition. I might have to start one too! You are such a good mom!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable idea Barb...I just love you! :) We miss you guys!
ReplyDeleteYeah that is fun. SO, when are you going to come to the Nauvoo temple?? You have a place to stay you know:)
ReplyDeleteYou all look so great! We miss you.
ReplyDeleteI think that is an awesome tradition, your kids will take it as a challenge and it will be a fun Peterson thing to do, that is fun.
