Alexia is 2!

car! Man, I am glad that she is still little and loves toys, so that I don't have to deal with the drama that must come when they want the official things. Adelaide was more than willing to test drive the car for Alexia.

I hadn't given much thought at all to the cake for Lexi's birthday, until Adelaide started giving me her 2 cents (or 2000 cents) about it. She listed off as many options as she could think of and pushed me to figure out something special. Luckily, Jared had brought up these Dora cupcakes a while ago, and I was able to do a variation using what I had at home. They didn't quite meet up to Adelaide's standards (Dora needs a nose), but they were good enough.

Unfortunately, the night was not so 'Happy' for me, since I was coming down with the flu. My smile did have to be somewhat forced, but Lexi's wasn't and that is all that matters.

We sure love our little Lexi! She is cute and spunky. She has filled these last two years with a lot of love and laughs.
