How a Daddy Gets to Celebrate

Last Saturday morning, Jared took his boards for the year. I was told that I should not tell him what we were going to do afterwards to celebrate, because then he may lose his focus, thinking about it during his test. Due to my planning, I proved one thing: I am a mother of three small children. So, I planned our little celebration like a mother of three would, which means it had to involve...
EASTER EGGS:-) Jared got to open the eggs, according to the color, to see the options for what we could do (i.e. Blue = Activities; Pink = Restaurants; etc.). Then, he had to pick which of the options in each color sounded best in order to truly set the plan for the night.

For the main activity he chose the "Monster Mini Golf" option! It was a bit of a drive, but it turned out to be worth it! Our girls loved it! The effect of the black lights, the fluorescent paint, and the 'Halloweenish characters' made for a really, really fun atmosphere.

The black lights also made for a fairly spooky baby, since it turned Jed into a 'ghostlike mummy.'

The above is a before and after set of pictures (Before the nice girl behind us offered to take our picture and After the nice girl offered and took our picture).

Who are the two people doing the golf shot into the creepy clowns mouth? Any guesses? Sorry to any who have Coulrophobia, but I had to post this pic of the final hole of the course.

Afterwards, we let the girls play a few of the arcade games to top the experience off!

I really wish that the course was closer to us, since the girls have not stopped talking about how much they loved it and how they want to go again. Unfortunately, unless gas prices cut in half, we probably won't be heading back any time soon.
