I Believe in Fairytales!

We will be celebrating our 7 year anniversary in two days! Well, we won't actually be celebrating, we will be packing for a short trip to see family the next day. Nonetheless, I feel like we already enjoyed a special night to commemorate it last Saturday.

We all got to get dressed up for the occasion. We were really excited, because we were able to let Jed wear a tuxedo (and this is not just any tux). It was the tuxedo that we bought for my nephew to wear at our wedding. Seven years later, our little boy got to wear it. It was very sentimental to me! Another semi-coincidence was that as I tried to pick out what the girls should wear, I thought their green and purple dresses would go nice. Once I realized that, if they did wear them, us girls would be wearing my wedding colors, it was a done deal. Quite nostalgic, huh?
To cap it all off, Jared and I were able to dance for one song (part time with Lexi; part time with just the two of us). As we were dancing alone, Jared noticed and pointed out the song that was playing. We were dancing to "I Can't Help Falling in Love with You," the very song that was playing when he proposed to me and, subsequently, was on our wedding video. Crazy cool!!!

What spurred all of these sweet events?...
A fabulously, beautiful wedding for Jared's 'co-resident,' Sonya. Check her out! She could pass for a true princess any day! Doesn't she look absolutely gorgeous!?!

Here is Jared with his other co-residents, that proved to be heroes (them and their spouses/dates) for us that night. All of them were so incredibly sweet, helping us to tame our beautiful 'little dragons.' They gave them their party favors, held them, talked and laughed with them, and even...
danced with them. They seriously were so thoughtful! A huge THANKS to all of them!!!

Seven years sounds like a long time! We really are living out our fairytale! We have faced some witches, bad wizards, and mean dragons, but the important thing is that we are perfectly in love with each other. We are 100% dedicated to creating our 'Happily Ever After!'
