Moments that Matter Most

Many times life is crazy and busy, but it is so special when we are able to grasp the "Moments That Matter Most."

I am sad to say that my grandparents' health is diminishing swiftly. So, going out to Utah, I knew that I had to visit them! I had to make sure to have the chance to spend a few more precious moments with them to let them know how much I love them!
My Grandpa and Grandma Mitchell are amazing! They are generous, loving, and endearingly spunky! I am so grateful to know that, though this was the last time I may see them on this earth, I will have the opportunity to see them and show my love to them once again in the next life.

I am so grateful for that assurance, which is largely because I believe in temples!
This is a heritage that gives me the kind of peace and hope that I want to be able to pass down to my children. Hence, another moment of our trip the mattered most to us, was to be able to take our children to see the temple where Jared and I were married, the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Also, we were able to take them to the St. George LDS Temple. These were definitely highlights of our trip.

  1. Barbara, what a sweet post. I adore your grandma Mitchell. I loved when we would sing with her and your mom. She is wonderful, as is your grandpa. I love that you got to see them and share some sweet moments with them. I also love that you got to take your adorable family to see the temples. I love your family. They are all getting so big and are beautiful. Family is forever!!!
