Softball is what our weekly spring entertainment has been. Addie's softball games, while entertaining, are sometimes not quite as entertaining as what has been going on by the sidelines.
These messy kids have a grand old filthy time every game.
Our Addie likes playing, but she also likes sitting out about just as much. One reason for that is that she can talk to her family through this little window.
Perhaps even better, though, is when her friend Zachary comes by to talk to her and give her the Airheads that he buys for her from the concession stand. He has done that at least three times. They love running and playing tag together for a few minutes after the game, too.
One of my favorite things that Zachary has done at the games was the time that he wrote this sign to hold up for Addie on the sidelines. He looked down at it after he held it up for a few seconds and commented how he thought it might not be big enough for her to read. Hmm...ya think;o)
