Adding Color to Life

My oldest 2 girls like to make beautiful things!!!  Here are some of the colorful things they have created in the past few months!

ADDIE'S
Addie spent a bit of time on multiple days coloring this butterfly.  While it was not chosen to be displayed by her teacher, I have chosen to display it for you, because I love it!
Addie worked on a fun party for our family.  With glitter, she wrote on the snack plates "eat more snacks" and "snacks to eat."
My favorite of the party preparations were her decorated straws and cups.  I love how her mind works:)
Addie has a really big heart!  On a day that was a long day at work for her daddy, she made him a homemade paper bouquet to perk up his day.
Our at home art days have dwindled in frequency since Addie started piano, but every once in a while we remember and throw one in.  This was our backyard art day.  She used chalk to do a picture of "children's hands around the world."
She also did some dirt artwork of Pinocchio and Pinocchia;o)
For her "draw an animal you have never drawn before" art lesson, she picked flamingos and I loved how it turned out.

LEXI'S
Earlier in the school year, Lexi and I worked on this for her project to be displayed in her class number museum.  Hence, this was her "Jack and the Magic Beanstalk" take on the number 6.  Why did she pick 6?  Well, obviously, because that is the age she would be turning this school year;o)

For Lexi's backyard art day, she built a sail ship.  Luckily, she found a random sock which was perfect for her sail!
Turns out we have a lot of random stuff in our backyard!  I'm thinking Lexi could make a pretty, little princess out of any materials after seeing her creative construction of this lovely lady.
For Lexi's "draw an animal you have never drawn before" art lesson, she picked elephants.  How cute are these elephant friends?  I think they are darling!

Keep adding color and beauty to life, my sweet girls!!!
