There are times in life that are fun filled and wonderful, but there are times that are miserable and hard! I am not going to pretend that life is always picturesque and lovely nor always awful and horrible.
While I have a relatively easy time keeping weight off, my skin has had many issues starting in my twenties. I had the worst outbreak ever this summer. It turned into a MRSA infection, and it hurt so bad and I felt so ugly. It took 'horse pills' and double medications to stop the infection. I hated it, but I am so grateful this time is over, at least for a while!!!
All of our family had other hard things to deal with! We almost all had strep throat, but none were hit as hard as Jared, since he had it 3 times within 1-2 months. Gotta love the face mask, trying to prevent it from spreading one more time! We were so tired of all the sickness!!!
Alexia and Jed both suffered with their breathing, and Jed with a persistent nasty, runny nose. They had to go on breathing treatments, while we were all balancing all sorts of other medications to fight off the strep, MRSA and other seasonal sicknesses this fall.
We will NEVER, EVER miss this time! It was terrifically difficult!
As an old friend once told me, "Empathy comes at a high price!"
