Ohiohealth funded a free trip for all of there employees to go see the lights and the Columbus Zoo for one night! So, we decided to take advantage of the perk and it turned out to be worth it.

Santa kindly greeted us as we came in!

We had lots of friends tell us how cool it was, so we finally had the chance to be able to see if we agree with them, and we sure do!

Adelaide and Alexia got a huge kick out of petting the goats, since I don't think that either of them really remember that once upon a time I really did to take them to the zoo before. It has just been a really, really long time.

We had to get a picture with the snake, since we mostly could only see the inside animals with it being so dark.

I really am not sure what is going on here; I just thought this was a classic evil eyed picture. This is a look that I get at least once a day, every day, minus the red eyes of course.

In order to convince the girls to leave the zoo, we bribed them with a carousel ride. I can't handle 'spinny' rides too well, so I got to be the designated picture taker. They were so cute and waved to me and blew kisses every time they passed!
Oh Barbara...It's too bad we aren't closer to hang out. Luke has been working night float...it stinks, and we have had plenty of nights/days with out my better half:) Glad to see you guys made it to the Zoo lights... we definitely missed them this year:) Happy holidays!
