Adelaide is a BLOOMIN' 5 Year Old!

Addie turned five!!! She decided to celebrate the day with major "Flower Power!"

It is good that the little boys who came over to her birthday party are not 'too cool' for flowers yet, otherwise the number of her party guests would have been cut in half!

For our party games, we played 'Pin the Petal on the Flower,' where the kids decorated their own petals.

They also enjoyed playing some rounds of 'Don't Devour that Flower' (our themed version of the game 'Don't Eat Pete')!

We had the kids decorate their own party favor bags. After completing them, they got to eat pizza, cake, and ice cream!

They finished up her official party, with the opening of her awesome presents!

Even though the official party was over, we unofficially partied all day long. Grandma Agnes sure made her happy by sending her a cute card with $5 in it, since Addie turned 5!

We went to Red Robin, Addie's choice, for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the good eats!

We came home and opened the presents from family, and Adelaide was thrilled with the results! Thank you all!!!

Then, we finished off the night with making the 'Edible Dirt Cups with Flowers' with the goods that we had given as party favors. It was a really fun Family Home Evening activity. Alexia was concentrating hard on the task at hand, as she carefully placed the worms in the dirt!

They turned out to be a yummy treat for the whole family; although, we definitely did not need the extra sugar they provided after the cake, ice cream, and shakes of the day! But I guess that is one of the things that makes birthdays magical!

Another thing that definitely made this birthday magical for us girls was that Jared had the day off and was able to be a part of everything! We loved it!
