A Glimpse of Our Thanksgiving

We had a very fun, very busy Thanksgiving! All in all we had 16 people (8 Adults; 8 Kids - ages 5 and under) at our house to share in a fabulous Thanksgiving meal (thanks to our friends' amazing dishes)!

Luckily, I had a lot of help preparing our part of the feast! Adelaide helped roll out, butter, and roll up the crescent rolls. She made sure to whip out the proper attire before she started helping! Thanks, cutie pie!

Plus, I have to do a major shout out to my awesome hubby. Jared worked so hard helping to get the house in order! He always helps and never complains, and when I tell him how grateful I am, he always says that he is just doing what he should be doing and that it is no big thing! To me, it is a huge thing; so, thanks a million times over, hub!

The dawning of the turkey...Da Da Da Dum! It was beautiful, and so incredibly moist! I am glad that I did not have that assignment. I have a slight phobia of cooking turkeys; so, I am way happy that the Matis's didn't and presented a masterpiece of one!

Here is a glimpse of the table setting,...

and a close up of the turkey silverware and napkin holders that I made. I obviously need to move to Never Land, because I am never going to grow up! Plus, a major advantage of having the turkeys was that I did not have to worry if I was setting everything up properly according to the rules of etiquette. Again, send me to Never Land!

We did not get a lot of pictures that day, because it was pretty chaotic, but here is a pic of when we told a Thanksgiving story to the kids!

It really turned out to be a great Thanksgiving, but by the end of it my pregnant body was intensely tired (and way too full ;-p )!

Happy Thanksgiving!
