And that modern artist is Miss Adelaide Peterson!

Jared asked, after we hadn't heard or seen from her for a while, "Where is Adelaide?" Well, every parent knows that if it gets too quiet, it either means they've fallen asleep or they are up to something that they don't want to get caught doing. In our case it was the latter, or should I say it was 'the ladder!'
We went upstairs to find Addie decorating the ladder up to her bunk by sticking small pieces of molding clay all the way up it. When she saw us, she totally went straight faced. You could tell that she thought she would be in major trouble. If she had done it with play dough, she probably would have heard an earful. Fortunately, modeling clay is much more manageable. So, Jared and I couldn't but help admiring her work as a thing of beauty! It took a bit of talking to convince her that it was okay, and that we really thought it was cool.
We even convinced Adelaide to let us take some pics, which we were able to do after we agreed upon a deal with her! That is where this picture originated from! Our modern princess with her Sissy's modern art!
