My wonderful grandfather, Albert DeMar Mitchell, passed away on July 7, 2011. Because of the sweet generosity of my parents, which in turn was a trait that my grandpa had passed down, all of us grandchildren were able to attend. They flew Tyler and me out, so that we could be there. One perk was that we took advantage of that fact and took some family pictures!

I loved being able to attend! I loved being able to sign I love you to him one last time. I loved how Jared was so sweet and supportive in letting me go on one of his only weekends off for the whole summer.
My grandpa truly was 'bigger than life.' I am proud to be his granddaughter!!!
