Unstoppable

Jed is a boy = he is busy, a bit gross, inventive about getting what he wants, and thinks getting into mischief is not such a bad thing;o)  The pictures below are just a small sampling of what he does/gets into all the time!!!
Food is always best after being dunked or submerged in water.

He has an innate homing device for candy.

At our ward party, he started opening up the toilet paper roll presents within 10 seconds of sitting down.  He was 100% content at staying at the table all alone with his candy from that point on.  I am ashamed to say that in my attempt to get him to "walk away from the table,"...Yep, I ended up bribing him with Smarties!

He takes advantage of our distracted moments.

While we were focused on eating and making sure that everyone had what they needed at the party, Jed got busy making up this salt and pepper cocktail.  Jared caught him trying to actually drink it!  We took it away promptly.  It didn't take me long to conclude what it was after seeing how empty the salt shaker had 'magically' become.

He always 'one ups' my 'smart' ideas.

At Olive Garden, I gave him one of the sweetener packets, hoping it would keep him busy trying to unsuccessfully open it for a couple minutes while waiting for our food.  One problem: he successfully opened it within a few seconds, and then dumped it 'down the hatch.'

 He is determined.

If he cannot get a package of food open and can't convince anyone in the family to open it for him, he is not above taking the matter (aka. scissors) into his own hands.  This attempt failed, because we caught him early.  A few days ago the tactic worked wonders at opening a bag of Sun Chips that no one would open for him.  A few minutes later his mouth was full of chips, and I was asking the girls if they had helped him.  "No!"  They hadn't.  With a very short investigation, evidence was found.  It was JED in the DINING ROOM with the SCISSORS = case solved!!!  BTW...He is not even 2 and is carrying out plots like that...ScArY!
He is so willing to get into stuff he shouldn't,...

and he is so cute doing it that he gets away with a ton more than he should.  Plus, he has the absolute cutest sad boy face and he knows how to use it to melt his mommy's heart.

So, I am afraid that my little stink pot is going to continue not getting in enough trouble when he gets into trouble!
