Bringing in 2013 was simple and fun. We put the babies (2 and under) down, so that the older ones could PARTY;o)
We played a simple game of 'brownie pictionary,' where we each wrote down something we were going to try to depict and turned it over so no one else could guess. We each were given a brownie with marshmallow creme on top to start us off with a clean slate;o) Then, we proceeded by picking coins out of a bag and flipping them to determine what piece of candy we got to put on our brownie to try to help create the picture of whatever we wrote down.
Although, the game was fun, snitching and being silly were even funner!
Ha ha ha...NEVER take Jared seriously when he is in solo pictures like this. He always tries to bust out these GQ poses, and he is not being serious at all...ha ha, the punk! His picture was of an eye; we can't seem to get away from those things, even on holidays;o)
Here's to bringing in 2013!!!
What is ahead of us for 2013 (at least that we know of)?
Some big things are the following:
*Jared will do a service mission in Africa (May)
*We will celebrate Emmy's 1st birthday (June)
*Jared will finish his training (June)
*We will move to Arizona (end of June - early July)
*Jared will start practicing ophthalmology (July)
*Alexia will start kindergarten (August)
*Adelaide will be baptized (October)
*Jed will keep us hopping (January-December)
I probably forgot something, but I don't want to put anything else down or I might just get too overwhelmed by all that will need to get done!!!
