So many times I post about the big holidays and celebrations and such, since that is when I usually have a camera out and ready. Sometimes the day to day stuff is just as awesome (ha ha...and sometimes it is not!),...but here are a few moments that were great that we captured.
The girls giving Emmy a super luxury drive, with a pillow and a maraca included for her joy ride.Another time, the girls did their classic, throwing a well organized party for our family.
Part of the activity included getting letters of your name removed from the blanket if you were not being a good sport. No surprise that Jed was down to 1 letter before anyone else had lost any letters. By the end, Jared and I got hit really hard right along with Jed. Also, no surprise that Emmy ended up winning (honestly, who can compete with a baby that cannot talk back and who is too cute to get mad at)! We couldn't!!!
Jed is our cute boy, who is a total boy! He holds his own and often intimidates his sisters with his boyish behaviors! Let's just say that he has started being in time out quite a bit more, always for not keeping his hands to himself (he is great at pulling hair, stealing glasses, hitting, pinching, pushing, scratching, wrestling, etc). Did I mention he is 2?
The other classic thing, that I have already aforementioned but has surely continued, is that Jed is a snack thief. Above, he is showing off what he found one morning, Daddy's bag of Muddy Buddies; he dumped it all over the table and swiftly chowed down before Mommy caught on. A breakfast of champions? Uh, I think not!!!
I love the picture below because it tells the story that keeps repeating itself. Jed takes a chair pulling it up to a place where food can be found or to get scissors to open the food he has already found. He cuts open the goods, then enjoys the taste of success.
Even though Jed LOVES his food, he is not selfish with it. He will share with everyone, sure that there is more than plenty to go around. He shared this sucker with Emmy, which was a 'no no,' but food not being allowed has never stopped him before!!! Okay...I have got to be honest. Get ready to judge me;o) After I caught Jed sharing his sucker, he quickly shied away, so...I encouraged him to give her another taste so that I could get the picture. He hesitated, probably thinking that I was off my rocker and going to get him in trouble at any moment. Nope, I just wanted the picture! How bad am I???
So, there you have a few little pictures into some of the small moments of our lives.
