I've Caught March Madness

Like Adelaide's tongue, we are 'True Blue'...

BYU fans!

That's right! From the youngest to the oldest, we cheer for BYU!

Of course, the biggest advocate of BYU sports in our family is Jared, who is absolutely thrilled to watch, listen, read, or talk anything BYU!!! Because of this, we surprised him with the addition of posters and balloons to our 'BYU Party,' where we watched BYU play in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The above two posters were my favorite that Addie made for the party!

That day, at a Dollar store, I found blue and white pompoms, and I simply could not resist buying them. So, between my purchase and their daddy's love, the above ensued for almost the whole first half of the game! Enjoy;-) p.s. For those who are unaware of it, Jimmer is the best player on BYU's basketball team (and many say the best in the whole country)!

Now let us revisit the post title, 'I've Caught March Madness!' And why has Barbara personally caught March Madness? There is only one reason; I filled out a bracket! Let's just say, I enjoy competition;-) I really loved doing it, and Jared loved that I did, too. I totally picked my bracket like an unknowledgeable girl! Some of my reasons for picking teams were 'their name is cooler,' 'their name is prettier,' 'my friend's family lives there,' 'Jared interviewed there,' etc.

I am thrilled to say that my unknowledgeable method paid off for me in the first round. In my group, I am the only girl; but, after the first round of the NCAA Tournament, I was ranked #2 in my group. Plus, I was only 1pt behind #1. I also have to put out there that I was ahead of the sports anchor in my group, and it is lame how excited I was about that!

So my question is, have you caught March Madness? If you haven't this year, fill out a bracket next year and catch it. It is super fun to go mad!!! I am planning on catching it every year from now on!
