Some say that babies are cutest when they are sleeping, and I just may have to agree with them!
We took Jed on his first walk around the block and he obviously found it to be riveting;-)
Another sleep story came on a different night. Jed was being a little fussy and Jared wasn't being able to settle him. Addie told Daddy to give Jed to her. We have just recently allowed her to start standing up while holding him (if we are right there), and she loves to do it. The above picture displays the result of the transfer. Jed immediately fell asleep in her arms. She felt so proud!!!
Since she did such a great job, Jared told her that we should get her if he gets up in the middle of the night! She excitedly accepted, and made sure that we knew that we could get her up at any time. She would gladly wake up to take care of Jed! I wish I was as enthused as her about getting up during the middle of the night to deal with a grumpy baby.
Yes! Lexi is big enough to hold Jed, too ;-) ;-) Not without assistance, though. But there is no shame in that, since our little brute recently weighed in at 12 lbs 9 oz. at his one month check up. Yep ~ he is in the 94th percentile for his weight! We love that Jed is a chunky little monkey!
You are so brave. Luckily Drew has quit asking if he can hold Lindsay and walk cause I'm still not comfortable with that. I am working on a layout though when the boys each got to feed Lindsay solo for the first time. (I love how they love helping out.)
