Ready or Not, Here Kindergarten Comes

We have started a new phase; but, before that, we prepped for the new phase.
Going to school, means going back to school shopping for the first time.  The girls had so much fun, and found some things that totally fit their personalities.
Here are my little fashionistas.  They are ready to pose, but ready for school . . . hmm; I know that I wasn't!
I kept telling Addie, "I know that you can do this; I just don't know if I can!"  It seemed to diffuse the nervousness that we both felt, as Adelaide would tease me about it.
The first day went GREAT for Adelaide.  She LOVED it!!!

As for me, I am still questioning whether or not I can do this.  I have to bring all three kids with me to drop her off and to pick her up.  The first day it was raining.  After struggling to get us all up into the school and back out, I ended up talking to Jared's mom and my mom on the phone.  I wanted to know if I could just leave my two little ones at home (especially if they are sleeping), while I drop off and pick up Adelaide.  Turns out it is unwise and ILLEGAL.  Oh man!!!  So, we are in for a really long year, but also a very good year : )

  1. I understand the whole hassle of getting your kid to kindergarten. I am so grateful for the car pool group that we have in the morning so that I am not always driving, but picking up I have to get everyone out and wait out in the Las Vegas heat outside for pick-up. Fun stuff!!
I am so glad that Addie loves school. I am sure that she is the star student. I was going to ask about your girls eyes- love the glasses!!

  2. Yeah for kindergarten. Sorry you have to drag the kids everyday that has too be hard. I love the bus. It is hard to have your first go to school. you get used to it and even even it a little later on.

  3. I knew you could fly with three. It's an adventure to say the least. Glad Addy liked her first day. Hope she is continually liking it. My life right now is timed around the three round trips I make to the school each day. I hear you on wanting to leave them home. It's aggravating to wake Bryce up to go pick up Jackson.
