A Modern Miracle Named Garrett

We have a very special nephew named GARRETT!  This sweet boy has been through so much in the one year that he has lived, including having heart surgery when he was only 3 weeks old.  While he is a hero, his parent's are beyond incredible for what they do for their sweet boy.  We have spoken of Garrett and have prayed for Garrett so often that he is quite the super star in our family.  When we went out to Utah in the summer, we had the privilege of meeting him in person.  It was a very touching experience!

 I had Jared come in again after my turn because Garrett was showing off doing all his favorite things.

 While we were in Utah, Garrett got moved from Primary Children's Hospital to a different care facility.  This meant that we were able to have our kids be the first children to get to spend time with G-man!

We were so happy that our kids were able to meet their very special cousin!!!

As for the girls, the following is what they described to me about their feelings for Garrett:
