We used our extra time with the Palmer's well,...
Watching a movie in a theater by ourselves,...Going on fun hikes,...
Enjoying views of the valley,
Being appropriately silly,...
Appreciating the beauty of the earth,...
Finding big rocks,...
And going where no Peterson has gone before;o),...
Too steep,...NO WAY!
The girls did have special visitors come with a special delivery of the girls'...
NEW GLASSES!!!
They put their new glasses to good use checking out a small dinosaur museum, but Lexi put her hand to even better use and her face pulling skills to the best use!!!
Emmy got tired, like the "I am going to lay down right here on the floor of the dinosaur museum" type of tired;o)
You can sleep, Em, but not until I get one last cool picture.
Then you can lay down on the pavement in the parking lot for all I care... ha ha... this girl was seriously tired!!!
Before heading out, we let Lexi's birthday balloons fly high in the sky!
Then, instead of flying, we took off on our road trip back to Arizona.
Being stuck in the car got Addie's creative juices flowing, making what looked like a teenage mutant ninja turtle to me.
It got Emmy's cuteness flowing, but she has an unlimited supply of that.
In the end, it once again got Lexi's stomach fluids flowing as well. Word to the wise (or at least to the wiser than me): Never, ever, ever attempt to wipe off the throw up from someone's mouth who is successfully throwing up in a bucket until you are sure that they are done!!! Otherwise, you just might create a ricochet effect to redirect the nastiness away from the bucket to spray all over the door! Been there, done that, and will never attempt it again.
Rub a dub dub, four kids in a tub, and who do you think they may be? The Addie, the Lexi, the Jed, and the Emmy, and all of them are so loved by me!
