Christmas Morning 2009

The girls woke up on Christmas and were excited to find out that they must have been on the 'good list.'

'Santa' brought each girl a few things and one big gift. This year Adelaide got a princess scooter and Alexia got an interactive baby doll with all the accessories.

Lexie felt compelled to personally check out the quality of the crib!

***Before we opened all the presents under the tree, we instigated our new family tradition. We hid one person from the nativity that we had wrapped as a gift. The special gift had to be found, unwrapped, and talked about before we could open the rest of the presents. This year we wrapped up baby Jesus. Adelaide was the one who found Him, so she got to be the one who got to tell our family why He was such a gift!

This is Jared opening a special gift that will most likely save our bacon in Philadelphia. It is a GPS System. If we get lost in a bad neighborhood, this will let us keep driving, instead of stopping and looking at a map in the very place that we want to get out of a.s.a.p.

Here is Lexie and Addie with all their loot. All the presents from Daddy and Mommy, Grandparents, and cousins added up to equal spoiled girls. Thank you to all of our family; you all spoil us rotten!

Here is Adelaide trying out her helmet and knee pads with her scooter.

We had a fun breakfast, thanks to Daddy, of toast/french toast, eggs, and hot cocoa. We were accompanied at breakfast by Addie's helmet, knee pads, and scooter, which I thought was pretty darn cute!

I don't think I would change one thing about that morning; it was beautiful and fun!
