Popcorn Party!

Have you ever had a popcorn themed party?  Well, I think you should;o)

 I hosted my first party with four different kinds of popcorn a few years ago; then, I revisited the idea to host an open house to wish the Mbakobs well as they will be moving soon.

 For this party I made it bigger and better, since we were expecting a good showing from people at our church.  I made seven different kinds split up in nine dishes, and two other kinds were brought by ladies in our ward.

 It was fun to see what the faves were, by seeing what got eaten the fastest.  It was good that we had made a lot, and had some other people bring in some other goodies, since our count of people who were there was 68!!!  We had 29 adults and 39 kids crammed in, conversing, playing like crazy, and hopefully having a good time.

By each popcorn selection, I put a marker like those shown above to denote the kind, so that people wouldn't have to be guessing at it.  Just in case any one is curious, the following are the kinds we had there that night:  Cookies and Cream, Butter Crunch with Chocolate Drizzle, Tex Mex, Parmesan, Soft Caramel, Kettle, Chocolate with Sprinkles, Almond Bark Drizzled, and Marshmallow.

I was happy with the result, even though at times it was mass madness with that many people in our not so big house!  I really loved it, though, and was super happy since I am not claustrophobic.
