Lexi is Five

For Lexi, we started off her special day at the Pop Shop.  It was great!!!...other than not being great!  Sometimes going out is peaceful and relaxing; this was not one of those times, but as Jared reminded me that is just part of life and that you keep doing it for the cherished few times that it is much closer to the ideal;o)

I guess all the fun pics below made all the trips to the bathroom worth it!

Later on, I got to take out my oldest girls to go to the movies, finally using their gift cards from Grandpa and Grandma Palmer.  This was a blast and I loved getting to splurge and buy the much too expensive treats!

 We went back home to officially have Lexi get spoiled like mad due to the awesome gifts from her awesome extended family!

 Then, we made sure to have time to eat her requested planet cake.

 Addie really appreciated the cotton candy, which was once around the cake, but soon became stacked on her plate.

If Lexi's birthday was as good as Jed's tongue is long, it must've been INCREDIBLY good!!!

We love our Lex!!!!!
