Quite a while ago, Addie had a fun play date with this cute little boy from her class. His mom contacted me and asked if we could "please" set up a play date for them. We decided to have him come over to our house.
Addie was dressed up...or not...for the occasion, since we picked him up right after her softball assessment. Funny thing about that set up... We pulled into his neighborhood, that I had heard had a reputation for being nice, and found out the homes were really, really nice and really big. We got him and brought him back to our house. When we were pulling up to our house, Addie busted out how our house looked like a "poor woman house" compared to his. This gave me a good laugh!!! Plus, it gave me a little motivation to tidy up a bit (aka. take the Christmas village off the table in the living room, that had been left up for over a month after Christmas)! Ha ha ha...we are high class around here;o)
They seemed to have a ton of fun together!
We probably could mark him as Addie's first little crush!
He had a fun enough time to ask to come back at the end of it, which made me happy! I guess we don't have to have a grand house to have it be a fun filled, happy place;o)
