I love figuring out ways to let the dollars STRETCH further.
I really wanted these shoes to STRETCH out through until school started at the end of July. So, when Addie's STRETCHy shoelaces broke in May, I was worried. I needed them to last another 2 months!!! I knew that since they were STRETCHy, I couldn't use normal shoelaces. I got thinking and figured that I would try a headband; that would STRETCH, right? It did and gave the shoes a great face lift. I was super happy with the result!!!I love when Jed watches shows.
He often will get himself in the cutest, comfiest positions to do so. Tongue out. Leg on knee. Lounging on sis's bed. Life is good!
I love how much Zachary liked Addie.
Zachary was such a cute, charming, OUTGOING boy.
And Addie stole his heart!!! He proposed multiple times;o) Addie made sure to only say "maybe," because she did not want to hurt his feelings!
Here you go Addie! You really had a Cinderella moment!!! After I told you and Zachary that if you hurried to get to the softball game, I would buy you a pack of Big League Chew, Zachary ran up with you to try to help you get ready faster.
Prince Charming helped to put the glass slipper (or blue softball sock) on his princess to be (or not to be, since he was NOT Addie's boyfriend, according to her)!!!
I love that kids live in the moment.
Playing in the rain is fun,...
so they play and play and play,...
and get sopping wet,...
and dance when they are sopping wet! They live in the moment and create beautiful memories, because they are not too preoccupied with the future!!!
Here's to hoping that us adults can learn a thing or two from these kiddos who embrace life a lot more fearlessly than we do!!!

Your family is darling. I love your last few words so true and inspiring. I worry too much about things and feel like I miss the little things that make life so special. The everyday moments, are some of my favorite. Best of luck with your new adventures.
