Frontier Days

Our kids got to participate in their school carnival in a fun western style!

A really special thing was getting to ride the ponies; the line was long, but it was totally worth the wait!
Cowboy Jed

 Cowgirl Addie

 Cowgirl Lexi

Ha ha...in this pic Jed's sweet pony looks like a mix between a horse and a warthog;o)
Addie took her turn to help at her class's classic booth, the fishpond.

The other fave activity of the night was the petting zoo!
Well, at least for the older girls.  When Jed looked terrified within the first minute, I decide to let him have an early exit, poor boy!!!
The girls, however, never wanted to exit.

Emmy enjoyed watching her sissies with the animals from afar!
It was especially fun when a chicken flew up and perched its back on the llama, making sure it got its proper attention;o)
The younger kids got some cute balloon animals.
Here is proof that Jed hit the target!!!  Too bad that it just wasn't hard enough!
I love Jared's "did you see that" look in this picture!  Luckily, Jed is young enough that he didn't know that he had been gypped; he just knew the ball had made his hands dirty...ha ha.

Good times!
